It's been almost two years since we released The Kid's Illustrated Cookbook. We are humbled by the support and encouragement we have received, and we are so grateful to everyone who purchased and shared Cole's book.
So many wonderful things have come from this book. The biggest, for me (Cole's mom), is the pride Cole has in this book. When someone comments on his being an author you can see the smile form and the excitement in his eyes. He loves that people enjoy his book and he continues to use it each day at home, gaining independence in the kitchen.
When we published The Kid’s Illustrated Cookbook we knew it was not perfect. Don’t get me wrong, we were thrilled with how it turned out, but we also knew that there were things we could improve upon. This was our first go and we always knew that there would be a second edition.
Well, it’s that time! We have been working on the second edition of The Kid’s Illustrated Cookbook, and we need your help! We are looking for feedback on the first edition.
What things do you feel could make the second edition even better?
To start, we want to make this book accessible to as many people as possible. We also want to include recipes that taste good and have some nutritional value to them. We want as many people to find their way into the kitchen as possible. And….we want the book to be fun and engaging! We know that is a tall order, but we are ready to try and make it happen!
